Students and staff of Avicenna International School aspire relentlessly to achieve the best results in all spheres of life. Since the first batch of the CAIE examination [IGCSE] in 2011, our students have been performing par excellence in many subjects and have achieved accolades as follows
- Asia Topper [ English Language-2013]
- World Topper [ Islamic Studies-2014 – 2017 ; Arabic Language- 2017 ]
- India Topper [ Business Studies, AICT; Tahfeezul Quran; Qirat – 2017]
One of their momentous achievements of Avicenna was a student scoring 100% marks in 4 out of 5 subjects at IGCSE in 2011
Our institute recognizes and gives precedence to the importance of religious education for families, and we are pleased to offer weekly Dars sessions for fathers and mothers (on Sundays and Tuesdays, respectively). These sessions provide an opportunity for parents to deepen their understanding of Islam and to strengthen their family’s connection to their faith and community. Led by experienced speakers, the sessions cover a wide range of topics, focusing on Islah, Quranic Studies and Tarbiyah. We believe that these sessions can help parents become better equipped to transmit their faith to their children and to foster a deen-centric environment at their homes.
Programme for Teachers
Every Friday, a comprehensive Islamic Training session of two hours is religiously conducted for our teachers comprising of Tafseer of the Quran, Seerah of the Prophet [saw], History of Islam and many other diversified topics on general tarbiyah[etiquettes in Islam], by experienced and learned speakers, for their holistic development and also to enable them to become role models for their students.
Students of Avicenna International School aspire to become Huffaz of the Quran. Alhamdulillah, the school makes due provision for them by dedicating a special 1-hour session in the morning every day and by organising an Intensive Hifz Programme in the summer vacations every year. These sessions are conducted under the guidance and supervision of expert and experienced Qaris and Ustads. The students of Avicenna lead in Taraweeh Salah in various masajid of Mumbai, Goa, Kashmir, and other parts of our beloved nation, India. Our student was also honored by getting a chance to lead in Taraweeh Salah in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He had to clear many tests conducted by renowned Huffaz and Qurra in Jeddah before getting selected for this honor. Ma sha Allah, la haula wala quwwata illa billah.
